In my community, I have seen farm and ranch auctions due to no or poor planning by the deceased family members for the next generation. Losing a farm or ranch whne you are not expecting it, because it has been left to 4 people inwhich 3 do not farm and ranch and want their share immediately, can put a family into poverty overnight.

Estate planning is essential for citizens to plan for the next generation. It is not simple, but can be made simpler.

The Horizons program in Scobey has a great success story of a young mother of 4, who is pursuing her college degree on line.
She was a participant in LeadershipPlenty and publicly acknowledges she was encouraged by the program that said she was a Leader in the community. WE are very proud of her!!
